the mostyle developersAs you can see, the mostyle ‘office’ community just keeps growing and growing. Stewart is back from his world wide adventures, and I’ve started working here too. I’m a pre-third year Media and Communications student from Swinburne University who will be working with the guys here to try and get some insight to the mostyle community as part of my industry based learning.

For the past few weeks we have been developing and refining enhancements that should make your mostyle experience much more enjoyable. We’ve been looking at the functionality and usability of mostyle and wreaking havoc, calling for a major overhaul on a range of things whilst keeping the developer boys very busy. So what have we been doing and how will it affect you? Here is a list of changes and things to check out;

  • We are working on a way to keep our users up-to-date with new developments, updates and special announcements. We’re making sure we update the blog more often, and ensuring that new information is available on “The Republic of Mostyle” club site and the landing pages -so we can keep you in the know
  • We are looking at remodelling the website landing page to orientate it towards the youth market more, with a splash page full of colour and short on the word content
  • We’ve moved the Factoids application out from hiding and into the actions panel. Factoids are questions you can answer and display on your profile page, giving your profile more personality and your mofriends better insight for what makes you tick!
  • My favourite thing to do on mostyle is no surprise -I love to make mosites. You make have noticed an assortment of new sites appearing, such as a Future Music site; a Paul Frank site and many more. I’ve been busy creating sites so I can see what its capabilities are, and hopefully so I can inspire you to give it a go too.
  • We have given you the option of personalizing your email invitations to friends by adding in a section for you to fill out before it’s sent. This gives you more freedom to explain to friends why you are inviting them to look at mostyle- instead of just sending invitations that may come off as generic.
  • My status! Like some other social networking tools, we acknowledge that your mood may change throughout the day and you might like to convey your mood to your friends, we have given you the option of selecting a Avatar image that can represent how you are feeling, or what mood you are in.After work fun
