Our Roots: Mostyle was founded by Alex Young in June 2004 as a commercial offshoot of his mobile industry insights blog/diary @ www.mo-style.com (now defunct).  The goal of Mostyle (Mostyle + Lifestyle) was to take advantage of new highspeed mobile networks to deliver an attractive and entertaining user experience across mobile internet devices.  Ultimately allowing for mobile services tailored and refined for specific lifestyles.  Since inception, a number of innovative mobile services have been developed including Pocket Charlie (Mobile Game try-before-you-buy web and mobile site), Pocket Charlie 3G (a 3G mobile lifestyle magazine and community portal), Pocket Charlie World (a 3G Mobile Community tiered for the Asian market).  The culmination of the technologies and systems built resulted in the development of our premiere platform to allow for 3rd parties to launch their own branded mobile community.

What do you do? We’ve built a solid mobile community platform that includes some nifty device detection & image optimization technology to allow for the best visual experience across any mobile device.  We provide a branded/whitelabel mobile community service to telcos, brands and existing communities for the purpose of increasing brand awareness, migrating users onto a new medium or enabling content distribution via a mobile community.

What are your backgrounds? Our team has a rich range of experiences from the telco industry (Nokia, Ericsson, Telstra, StarHub, NTT DoCoMo and more)  including design, development and launching of mobile games, portals, services and applications. We’ve brought together our regional experiences from Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore and more.
